Amel Larrieux

Amel Larrieux is an American soul music singer, known for her smooth creamy voice as half of the R&B duo Groove Theory. With Bryce Wilson, Amel can be heard on such hits as "Tell Me", "Keep Trying" and Sweetback's "You Will Rise". After a solo album with Epic Records and a minor hit in "Get Up", Amel's accomplished coloratura soprano can be heard on her newest album, Bravebird, distributed by Blisslife Records. Amel currently resides in New York City with her her husband, Laru, and two daughters, Sanji and Sky.
