American Aviation

American Aviation Corporation was a US firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. It was established by Jim Bede of Bede Aircraft in 1968 to manufacture and market the Bede BD-1 as the AA-1 Yankee. In 1972 the company was acquired by Grumman as the Grumman-American Division.
