The American Dietetic Association (ADA) is the United States' largest body of professional dietitians. Dietitians concentrate more on dietary issues than most M.D.s, but do not have the credentials of M.D.s in the broader fields of medicine beyond dietary issues. The ADA also lobbies for health-related policies relating to public nutrition issues.
