BTR Aerospace Group was renamed from BTR Industries after acquisition of Dunlop Aviation Division in 1985.
It is a group of four companies:
- Standard Aero
- Dunlop Aviation Division
- Aero Engine Equipment
- Dunlop Precision Rubber
In 1996, Dunlop Aircraft Tyre Limited was created out of assets purchased from BTR Aerospace.
In July 1998, Doughty Hanson & Co purchased BTR Aerospace Group and renamed it Dunlop Standard Aerospace Group.
