Brouwerij der Sint-Benedictusabdij de Achelse is a Belgian brewery in the abbey of Saint Benedict in Achel. It brews 3 beers but only one is sold outside the abbey cafeteria : the Achel 8 (extra brown). The other two beers are Achel 5 and Achel 5 Blond. The abbey stopped brewing in 1914. In 1998 the monks decided to begin producing trappist beer again.
