Cyberdyne Systems Corporation is a fictional company created after the chronological timeline of The Terminator which created Skynet for the NATO Strategic Air Command-North American Aerospace Defense Command and the T-800 android and sent it through time to that period.
After the timeline was altered when their HQ Lab was destroyed (thus postponing the 1997 Judgment Day), it was succeeded between the events of Terminator 2 and 3 by Cyber Research Systems.
Other models of assassin created by Cyberdyne include the T-1000, the T-800, the T-600 , and the T-X.
Cyberdyne is also a (real) Japanese company, who sells a robot suit called HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb, not related to HAL 9000). You can see this product on the company site : http://www.cyberdyne.jp/ENG/hal.html.
