Elmo Langley

Elmo Langley was a NASCAR Pace Car driver from 1990 to 1996. He could be seen driving the car around the track during the yellow flag laps, he was a frequent victim of Dale Earnhardt since he loved to bump the pace car "for the fun of it". On September 21, 1996, Elmo died doing what he loved at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka, Japan during a exubition woth some of the NASCAR drivers. Elmo will be missed driving the pace car, but we all know that he is getting his pace car trashed and bashed by Dale Earnhardt up in heaven.
