Gonesse is a town in the Val d'Oise département, north of Paris.
It is located immediately north of Le Bourget airport and southwest of Charles De Gaulle International Airport.

History
King Philip II of France was born here on 21 August 1165.
On 25 July 2000, Air France Flight 4590, a Concorde supersonic airliner crashed in Gonesse.
