Kraft Television Theater was an American television program that ran from 1947 to 1958. The show was an example of the Anthology drama , a program format that, unlike an episodic series , created new stories and new characters each week, essentially producing plays for television. The show was created in part to promote Kraft's new Cheez Whiz product.
