Lincoln Mark VIII

The Mark VIII was a large luxurious coupe from Lincoln, sold between 1993 and 1998. Based upon the Ford MN12 Thuderbird/Cougar platform, the Mark VIII was assembled at the Wixom, MI assembly plant as the FN10 platform. A 1997 LSC model got 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) more and other luxury features. Declining sales and prestige led to the cancellation of the Mark series in 1998, with the new Lincoln LS replacing the model in 2000.
