This article is part of the Mazda automobile series.

The Mazda2 is a subcompact car sold by Mazda in many markets (excluding the United States). In some Eurpean markets, Germany for example, it is also sold as Ford Fusion with slightly different head- and taillights. It is based on Ford's Fiesta on the Global Ford B3 platform which is based on Mazda's DY platform. The Mazda2 replaced the 121 and is sold in Japan as the Demio. The car is produced at a Ford plant in Valencia, Spain.
