MeMZ

Melitopol Motor Plant or MeMZ (Russian: Мелитопольский моторный завод, МеМЗ) is a leading Ukrainian engine factory. Established in 1958 as an engine plant for ZAZ, it was incorporated into AvtoZAZ holding in 1975. With the establishment of AutoZAZ-Daewoo in 1998, it was renamed AutoZAZ-Motor.

In 2002, UkrAVTO acquired AvtoZAZ and incorporated MeMZ into ZAZ.

  • MeMZ 965/966 - 0.9 L air-cooled V4 for ZAZ-965 and ZAZ-966 Zaporozhets
  • MeMZ 968 - 1.2 L air-cooled V4 for ZAZ-968 Zaporozhets
  • MeMZ 245/2451/2457 - 1.1 L/1.2 L water-cooled I4 for ZAZ-1102 Tavria and ZAZ-1105 Dana/Slavuta
  • MeMZ 301/3011 - 1.3 L water-cooled I4 for ZAZ Sens and ZAZ-1105 Slavuta
  • MeMZ 307/3071 - fuel injection versions of 301/3011
