Michigan J. Frog

Michigan J. Frog is an animated cartoon character who debuted in the Looney Tunes cartoon "One Froggy Evening" (1955). He wears a top hat, carries a cane, sings ragtime, and dances in the style of Al Jolson. The character appeared in a later cartoon entitled "Another Froggy Evening" (1988).

The gag in both cartoons is that Michigan's talent is discovered by some hapless person who has visions of making a fortune exploiting the frog, but who soon discovers that Michigan will only perform for him.

He is now the mascot of the The WB Television Network. He also appeared in an episode of Tiny Toon Adventures and later as a talent show emcee in an episode of Duck Dodgers.
