Mike Duhaney (born April 5, 1974 in San Diego, California) is an American soccer player, who played much of his career in Major League Soccer.
Duhaney played college soccer at UNLV, where he was named first-team All-Conference in 1994. Upon graduating in 1994, Duhaney spent all of 1995 training full-time with the US U-23 Olympic team.
Duhaney was selected 87th overall in the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft by the Tampa Bay Mutiny. Unfortunately, a knee injury kept him from playing at all in the 1996 season. Duhaney made up for missed time in 1997, however, seizing the Mutiny's left back position and starting 25 games for the team, being named the MLS Rookie of the Year. Duhaney was traded midway into the next season to the MetroStars in exchange for Paul Dougherty . Although Duhaney did see a good deal of playing time with the Metros, he never settled in, and was traded following the 1999 campaign to the Columbus Crew in exchange for Thomas Dooley. Duhaney stayed in Columbus for two years, starting 39 games for the team, before being released after the 2001 season.
Following his departure from MLS, Duhaney drifted around Europe, playing with German club FSV Mainz in 2002-03.
