Nancy Hicks Gribble is a cartoon character on the animated television show King of the Hill. She is the wife of Dale Gribble and mother to Joseph Gribble. She is friends with Peggy Hill and works as the weathergirl for the local television station, Channel 6 News. Nancy had a 14-year-long affair with John Redcorn, a Native American medicine man who frequently spent long hours with her, ostensibly to heal her headaches. However, she broke up with Redcorn in the season 4 episode "Nancy's Boys." Her husband, though a paranoid conspiracy theorist, suspects neither the affair nor Joseph's true parentage. She tends to call everyone "Shug" (diminutive form of "sugar").
