Nat Reeves

Nat Reeves is an American jazz bassist. He has recorded with Chick Corea, Steve Davis, Kenny Garrett, and Jackie McLean, among others.

He began teaching at the Artist Collective , directed by McLean and his wife Dollie, in Hartford, Connecticut in 1981. In 1982 he joined the faculty of The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, teaching in the African-American music program run by McLean, where he has remained. For the next twelve years he also toured with McLean and played on five of his albums.
