Nathaniel Pitcher

Nathaniel Pitcher (17771836) was governor of the U.S. state of New York from 1828 to 1829, having succeeded as Lt. Governor, Governor Dewitt Clinton upon the latter's death. Pitcher was born in Litchfield, Connecticut and died in Sandy Hill, New York . He also served in the state legislature and the U.S. Congress.
