National Amusements

National Amusements is a chain movie theaters spanning 1,300 screens mainly in the New England area of the United States, but it also owns a controlling interest in the media conglomerate Viacom, which, among other assets, owns Famous Players, Canada's largest theatre chain. Other holdings include 70% of video-game maker Midway Games.

Sumner Redstone and his family control National Amusements, which was founded by his father Michael Redstone in Valley Stream, New York. Corporate offices are in Dedham, Massachusetts.
