National Trails

National Trails is an umbrella agency of the UK government which has a mandate to promote, maintain and develop the network of long distance footpaths in the United Kingdom.

• Pennine Bridleway in England
• Pennine Way in England and Scotland
• Southern Upland Way in Scotland
• South Downs Way in England
• South West Coast Path (South West Way) in England - the UK's longest
• Speyside Way in Scotland
• Thames Path in England
• The Ridgeway in England
• West Highland Way in Scotland
• Wolds Way in England

Together these are over 4,000km long.
