Nissan KA engine

The KA engine is a 2.4 L (2388 cc) straight-4 piston engine from Nissan. It has an iron block and aluminum SOHC or DOHC 3-valve or 4-valve heads.

KA24E

The KA24E was a SOHC 3-valve engine produced from July, 1988 through January, 1996.

KA24DE


The 2.4 L (2389 cc) KA24DE was used in many Nissan cars and trucks and was built in Aguascalientes, Mexico . It is a basic DOHC 4-valve engine producing 140 hp to 155 (104 to 115 kW) to and 154 to 160 ft·lbf (208 to 216 Nm). Bore is 89 mm and stroke is 96 mm. It has an cast iron engine block and aluminum DOHC cylinder heads. It uses SFI fuel injection, has 4 valves per cylinder with bucket tappets and features forged steel connecting rods, a one-piece cast camshaft, and a cast aluminum intake manifold.
