Omar Sivori

Omar Sivori, (October 2, 1935 - February 17, 2005), was an Argentine football player.

From 1957 to 1965, he played for Juventus Turin. Following his move to Italy from River Plate, he was barred from playing for the Argentine national side by the country's government. He went on to play for Italy, making his debut in April 1961 and earned nine caps.

He was European Footballer of the Year (Ballon d'or) in 1961 and named by Pelé as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004.
