Picometre

Picometre (American spelling: picometer, symbol: pm) is an SI measure of length that is equal to 10⁻¹² of a metre. It is commonly used in measuring atomic-scale distances; atom diameters are in the range from ~30 to 600 pm.

• 1 pm = 1 × 10⁻¹² metre
• 1 pm = 1000 femtometre
• 100 pm = 1 ångström
• 1000 pm = 1 nanometre
• 1 nm = 1000 picometres
