Porsche 935

The Porsche 935 was a racing version of the 930 (911 Turbo), prepared for FIA Group 5 rules, and raced in various championships including the World Sports Car Championship and the IMSA championship.

Several modifications were allowed, including bodywork modifications, larger wings, wider axles and water cooling. The distinguishing feature is the flat nose, with the headlights built into the front spoiler. Evolution models were capable of attaining 850 bhp. The Kremer -prepared 935 K3 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979.

Because of its shape, with the long front and rear, the 935 was often nicknamed Moby Dick.
