Prince Bira (born 15 July 1914 in Bangkok, Thailand; dead 23 December 1985) was a Formula One driver who raced for the Maserati, Simca-Gordini, Gordini and Connaught teams. His full name was Prince Birabongse Bhanutej Bhanubandh, and he had his first try in motor racing in his cousin, Prince Chula Chakrabongse's team, White Mouse Racing. His expertise behind the wheel of the voiturette earned him the Coupe de Prince Rainier at Monte Carlo. After the war, Bira returned to racing with many teams. By 1954 he was winning the Grand Prix des Frontieres on the Chimay road circuit and then finished fourth in the French Grand Prix. He retired at the end of the season.
