Pro Stock is a drag racing class used by both the NHRA and the IHRA. These cars have to weigh at least 2,350 pounds (1077 kg) (including driver) and be based on a car design that is less than 5 years old. The usual rules for drag racing apply, and these machines produce power well over 1000 hp (750 kW).
