Roads and Traffic Authority

Roads and Traffic Authority of New South Wales, or RTA for short, is a government depart of the State of New South Wales responsible for major road infrastructure. The Minister responsible up until January 2005 was Carl Scully. At that time there was a cabinet reshuffle by Premier Bob Carr and the new minister is Michael Costa. The organisation was previously known as the Department of Main Roads, or DMR for short.
