Robert Vaughn

Robert Francis Vaughn (born November 22, 1932) is an American actor noted for stage, screen and TV work.

Vaughn was born in New York City into a showbiz family. Vaughn's first notable appearance was as one of the Magnificent Seven (1960), a role he echoed twenty years later in Battle Beyond the Stars. In 1964, he starred as Napoleon Solo, the eponymous Man from U.N.C.L.E., but much of his thunder was stolen by co-star David McCallum. He is currently the only one of the Magnificent Seven still living as of 2005.

He married the actress Linda Staab in 1974.
