Saïd Saadi)
Saïd Sadi (born 26 August 1947 in Aghribs , near Azazga ) is an Algerian psychiatrist and Berber nationalist . He created the first Algerian human rights organization. His political activities landed him in jail several times during the one-party régime. He founded the Rally for Culture and Democracy (RCD) in 1989 on the basis of secularism and cultural pluralism. Not surprisingly, most of his support comes from the Kabylie and other Berber ethnic groups.
