Platform:FR Kappa
Class:Sports car
Similar:Pontiac Solstice
Engines:2.4 L LE5 I4

The Saturn Sky is a roadster automobile which will go on sale in early 2006. It uses the Kappa automobile platform shared with the Pontiac Solstice. The Sky will be shown at the 2005 Detroit Auto Show and will be built at GM's Wilmington, Delaware plant.

The Sky features 18 in (457 mm) wheels and a 2.4 L Ecotec LE5 I4 engine that produces 170 hp (127 kW). Manual and automatic transmissions are available, both with five gears.

The styling for the Sky is based on the Vauxhall VX Lightning concept car. That design would not have met European pedestrian safety regulations and was scrapped.
