Secret Messages is an album by Electric Light Orchestra. It was released in 1983 (see 1983 in music).

The album was originally planned to be a double album, but due to ELO's declining commercial success, their record company decided that a two-LP set would be too expensive. Some of the material from the double album would appear on the 2001 re-release, some would be used in future ELO projects ("Endless Lies applies to both, appearing on the 2001 CD and on the Balance of Power album), and some, such as the "Beatles Forever" tribute song, would not be released at all.
