Sekiryo Kaneda (also known as Sekiryo Yamauchi) was the second president of what is now Nintendo Company Limited. He married the daughter of Fusajiro Yamauchi, Tei Yamauchi, and took the Yamauchi surname.
Business
When Sekiryo took over Nintendo, he was in charge of Japan's largest card maker. In 1933, Sekiryo established a joint-venture company, and renamed it Yamauchi Nintendo and Co. In 1947, he established a distribution company, Marufuku Company Limited.
Retirement
In 1949, Sekiryo retired. Hiroshi Yamauchi took over. Hiroshi Yamauchi's father did not take over the company as he had abandoned his son and wife, Kimi.
