Sulawesi (or Celebes) is a large Indonesian island. It is the world's 11th largest island covering an area of 174,600 kmē.
To the west is Borneo. To the north are the Philippines. To the south is Flores.
To the southeast is Timor.
To the east are the Moluccas.
