The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee is a mission based racing (or driving) game released on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles. Return of the General Lee is based on the popular Dukes of Hazzard television show. It is the third game based on this show, and the first one to be made on a current generation console (the other two were released on the PlayStation).

General Lee recieved many negative reviews from gaming websites and publications; however, gamers in general and fans in particular found the game to be more enjoyable and was met with average to slightly above average user ratings.

When the game was first announced and screenshots were first released, there was mild controversy because the infamous rebel flag on top of the Duke's car (the General Lee) was absent from the screenshots. The screenshots did not show a complete picture of the top of the roof, but the angles were good enough that one should have been able to see the flag had it been there. The flag was later added to the car and is present in the curent version of the game on both consoles.
