The Whiskervilles are a family of fictional characters from The Scrooge McDuck Universe that are created by Carl Barks for The Walt Disney Company. They are known to be enemies of The Clan McDuck. They first appeared in Uncle Scrooge #29 in The Hound of the Whiskervilles where Scrooge McDuck and his nephews Donald Duck and Huey Dewey and Louie find out that The Whiskervilles have been using their hound costume to frighten The Clan McDuck for centuries. At the end of that story Scrooge and the last member of The Whiskerville family eventually became friends. They returned in The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Parts 1,5,and 9 where they continue to antagonize The McDucks. In Part 1 they run Scrooge and his father off by using the hound costume but Scrooge got back at them but inpersonating the Ghost of Sir Quackly. In Part 5 they tried to steal the bank draft from Scrooge so they can legally buy Castle McDuck to tear it down but Scrooge stopped them. In Part 9 only one of them appeared but he didn't cause too much trouble in that story he just appeared as a sheep owner while Scrooge was in an Olympics contest. After that The Whiskervilles didn't make any more appearances.
