BSE
Hi. Just wondering if you've had a chance to look at that BSE Sensex article recently, it seems it's still pretty poor. I don't like to assign projects to people, but this does seem up your alley, and the topic is certainly encyclopedic, unlike many things I could mention. Well, I won't get into that. But if you have the time and inclination it is an article that could use some improvement, and I've noticed that tagging articles for cleanup is about as useful as putting a post-it on my fridge. Take care. -R. fiend 04:26, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed that you reverted my edit to the one-hit wonders page. I had removed Moby because this page [1] says Moby hit the Top 40 with "We Are All Made Of Stars", Moby hit the Top 40 (with help from Gwen Stefani) with "South Side" and Moby hit the Top 40 with "Bodyrock". Is this incorrect? Thanks! Carrp | Talk 22:57, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)

User is vandalizing pages again after you blocked in January. Can you block again?
Thanks mate
I appreciate your kind words. I'm sure I'll pop around once or twice - but this will be pretty rare :( It's good to see I made an impact and (seemingly) lots of friends! I can't believe how many people have replied to my talk page... - Ta bu shi da yu 07:55, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Pearls Before Swine
I just wrote I'd ask before I reverted someone's well-meant edits, and then I deleted the reference to Dorothy Parker on Pearls Before Swine. If you feel it is noteworthy feel free to reinsert it, but please write on her page what's special about her using it. — Sebastian 03:39, 2005 Mar 20 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply! I added it back and moved the discussion to Talk:Pearls_Before_Swine. — Sebastian 05:12, 2005 Mar 22 (UTC)
Thank you for supporting my RfA. I very much appreciate your confidence in me. Please let me know if you see something I should (or shouldn't) be doing as an admin. Regards, Patrick. Carbonite | Talk 13:45, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)
category disambiguation (from the Help Desk)
On March 31, I commented on the Help-Desk discussion on category diambiguation. Because this comment came so long after the latest previous comment, I think you may have missed it — but may be interested in it. Hence my pointing you to it. —msh210 16:42, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
You deleted several entries on 29 March. While maybe some of the ones you deleted indeed fit the criteria for exclusion, you otherwise seem to have gone through deleting stuff at random. Would you care to explain your changes? -- Smjg 17:56, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)

RfA thanks
Thank you for the vote at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Henrygb2. It has made my week. --Henrygb 01:58, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)
THANKS!
Ok, thats fine, thank you for the notification, the deletes came too fast, disorienting. :) --Cool Cat My Talk 17:25, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I linked to the original VfD where consensus was to delete, and the page was deleted (if it was deleted, then Kaaos should be red). I believe it constituted a recreation of deleted material, or by-passing VfD process. Either way, if you definitely think it's not speedy, VfD it shall be. Chris talk back 18:40, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi. Coolcat broke the 3RR on Kurdish people. I did neglect to note this on his talk page, but it was noted in the block log and WP:AN/3RR. Also, Coolcat did realize he was in danger of breaking the 3RR [2]. Sorry for any confusion. Carbonite | Talk 02:17, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi DDG. With regards to the changes being made to the Pac-Man article please refer to the following two discussions.
a vandal with a poor choice of username
Hello. Thought I should let you know that there is a vandal with the username DropDeadGorgiasSucks . You may want to keep an eye on this bad user. Should this user be banned for the poor choice of username ? I'll let you decide. Good Luck. -- PFHLai 19:16, 2005 Apr 13 (UTC)
- I've already reported it at RfC. Nothing seems to have happened, so I'll go back there and stir things up. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 19:34, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

iTunes, Linux not officially supported sentence
Well, I wasn't claiming in an article that Linux has higher market share than Apple, but I have read this, I will look for citations. But the point is Linux's market share is obviously close to Apple's if you've even read Linux is expected to overtake Mac for 2nd by the end of the year (which means it's definitely already notable enough for inclusion). The iTunes and many related articles need more info on the overall DRM controversy and the recent "DVD john" compatability "hack". On a related side note, even the Linux article doesn't convey why the GPL is relevant to many developers. I recall reading a recent article about how congress was thinking about making it 100% legal for people to write iTunes compatibility software, will look for that too. zen master T 21:25, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Edit summary is a very different beast than actual article content. Someone else keeps removing the Linux not supported sentence, can you help out keeping it there? Perhaps a talk page discussion is in order, as it generally is. zen master T 21:34, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- We aren't actually anywhere near the 3RR because other changes and clean ups have been made inbetween the removal and adding of the disputed sentence (not straight reverts). But yes the talk page is the place to be, though few seem interested in actual debate these days. zen master T 21:46, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
don't think I was vandalizing
You sent me a message saying I vandalized a page, I don't think I did. If I recall, there was an unclear sentence and I cleaned it up. Sorry if I didn't leave a detailed explanation, but I didn't really have the time or inclination.

I made the talk page to describe the google-test for the article name, because I have been blamed for making article names with low google results, just to let u know. --SuperDude 19:21, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Giving up
Hi, DDG. I promise that I will see this thing through. When I said I was giving up, I meant that I was convinced that nothing I said or did was going to bring Sam around. That latest edit gives me a glimmer of hope. Nice note on his page. I think I'll do likewise. Maybe this is finally the turning point. We persist... - Lucky 6.9 03:03, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
You deleted the talk page, but didn't actually fix the problem that Korath described in the speedy deletion notice. Template:Corp-stub needs to be deleted so that Corp stub- template can be moved back to its original location. Uncle G 19:20, 2005 Apr 20 (UTC)
- OK, this whole thing has me confused, as Korath had already copied the content manually. Nevertheless, to preserve article history i suppose, I've deleted that, and moved Corp stub- template back there. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 19:28, Apr 20, 2005 (UTC)
- It took me a while to follow what had done, too. Korath copied the text back as a temporary measure because otherwise Template:Corp-stub would have remained a redirect to Peerflix, and every article that happened to be tagged {{corp-stub}} would have thus sported a bunch of text about Peerflix. That's also why xe put the CSD notice on the talk page rather than on the template itself. Uncle G 19:39, 2005 Apr 20 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's fine, but I put a note on Korath's talk page that it would probably have been more expedient to use Template:move instead and give a more detailed explanation and instructions on Wikipedia:Requested moves. Cheers, --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 19:43, Apr 20, 2005 (UTC)
