The Volvo B20 was a straight-4 pushrod engine produced in the 1960s. It was used from 1969 to 1975 in the Volvo 120, 1800, 140 and 240 series. The design is quite similar to the predecessor B18 and many parts are interchangeable.
An improved B20E version used Bosch electronic fuel injection to bring the output from 118 hp to 130 hp. Both engines displace 1986 cc from 86 mm bore and 80 mm stroke.
